Abstract

|
|
2 cases of psychoses associated with thyroid thyroid gland dysfunction were presented and attempted to clarified these relationship in the light of previous literature on the subject. The result suggested that psychotic symptom seem to be secondary due to thyroid gland dysfunction and may be stimulated by the protean action of thyroid hormone. However, we have suspected that psychotic symptom were developed similarly to functional psychoses on the endocrine dysfunction.
